HILAQUITA CHIQUIPA, Mario Lucio. Redesied rotary rotary dryer to treat Quinoa grain. Rev. Tecnológica [online]. 2018, vol.14, n.20, pp. 13-16. ISSN 1729-7532.

Abstract An analytical, mechanical, electrical and electronic redesign of a rotary dryer to treat quinoa grain, built by students of Industrial Chemistry in previous semesters was carried out, with the advice of the autor. The dryer presented operational problems, which were modified through this investigation, reaching an overall improvement in its construction - operation. Proof of this are the efficiency of operation (81.68 percent) and the Moisture in Humid Base of equilibrium (HBH = 7,75 percent), value lower than the 9,0 percent that establishes as a maximum la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina del Perú.

Keywords : Moisture of quinoa grain; rotary dryer; mass transfer; heat transfer elements; passage time.
